Join us for a talk with Dr Francesca Mancini, Ecological Modeller, UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology

We’re so excited to welcome Dr Francesca Mancini to the latest Insights Wales-Cipolwg Cymru online talk and we’ll hope you’ll join us for a discussion on Bringing the data revolution to nature recovery.  

Francesca is an Ecological Modeller at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, where she works primarily with citizen science data to produce species trends and identify the drivers of biodiversity change.  

Francesca started her studies in Biological Sciences at La Sapienza University of Rome before moving to the UK to complete a Master’s degree in Applied Marine and Fisheries Ecology at the University of Aberdeen, where she also completed her PhD in Ecology on sustainable management of wildlife tourism. 

We look forward to hearing more about Francesca’s work and research and invite you to come along with your questions, curiosity (and a cuppa, of course!)
