Environment Platform Wales hosted the first Blue Carbon Forum for Wales on September 17th 2024 from 10am – noon.
Representatives of Welsh Government and academia have expressed the intention to set up a Blue Carbon Forum for Wales (name tbc). The vision for the Forum is to be inclusive of all with an interest in blue carbon, with an aim to share information and knowledge, and to accelerate the already growing body of expertise and experience we have in Wales.
We would like to invite you to the initial meeting which will be held on Tuesday 17th September. The primary objective of this initial meeting will be to explore what the community in Wales would like and need, from the Forum. This initial meeting will be online, but interactive, with group discussion and digital whiteboards to capture ideas and opinions.
