The bike lock is an independent bike storage and co-working space, serving locally roasted coffee in the heart of Cardiff city centre.
We’re on a mission to build a welcoming and safe space that encourages people to be more active and engage with their local community. As a social enterprise, all profits from The Bike Lock will be reinvested to support active travel in and around Cardiff, enabling a healthier and happier community.
About the speaker
After a number of successful & hugely enjoyable years working across the public sector in the UK and most recently at Sport Wales, I decided in early 2020 to leave the organisation and chase my dream of working as a freelancer. I am an experienced Senior Leader and Non Exec Director with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. Skilled in People, Governance, Change, Negotiation, Budgeting, Business Planning, and Sports Management. Strong community and social services professional & MBA & CIPFA graduate
