At Aberystwyth Business School, we are involved in a range of interdisciplinary research projects that explore the relationship between people, nature, and environmental decision-making. One of these is the MUST – Enabling multispecies transitions project, funded by the Research Council of Finland | Suomen Akatemia.
We are delighted to be hosting a special stakeholder event at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Show 2026, bringing together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and anyone interested in the future of nature conservation.
The event will explore how environmental policy can better reflect not only the diverse values of people but also the needs of the more-than-human world. Through research, discussion, and creative storytelling, we will consider how the experiences of other species can be better represented in conservation and environmental decision-making.
The programme includes:
🌱 Presentations on innovative research exploring more-than-human perspectives in environmental decision-making.
🎤 A panel discussion with representatives from leading environmental organisations.
🎬 The premiere of our new short film, Giving a Voice to Nature, directed by Heledd Wyn Hardy, which invites audiences to experience the world through the perspective of other species.
Whether you are a policymaker, practitioner, researcher, student, or simply passionate about nature, we would be delighted to welcome you.
