About the Speaker

Ffion Mitchell-Langford is the Project Designer and Lead of Hiraeth Yn Y Môr (HYYM) – a National Lottery Heritage Funded project delivered by the Marine Conservation Society. In close collaboration with the coastal communities of Kinmel Bay, Towyn, Rhyl & Prestatyn, the project aims to grow Ocean Literacy as a means of improving the sustainable management of Liverpool Bay SPA and community health & well-being. Applying learning from the HYYM Project, Ffion is a lead contributor to Wales’ Ocean Literacy Steering Group, tasked with the co-development of Wales’ first ever national Ocean Literacy Strategy.
