SoNaRR2020 will provide the evidence base and assessment of the extent to which sustainable management of natural resources (SMNR) is being achieved (including our assessment of biodiversity). The report will identify challenges and opportunities in the management of natural resources, together with gaps in the information needed to do this. Following on from previous engagement, we want our stakeholders to help with finalising the conclusions.
The main purpose of this workshop is to get external input for the concluding chapters in SoNaRR2020 – specifically the Assessments against the 4 measures of SMNR – Drivers and Pressures; Impact on SMNR and “focus areas for SMNR”.
NRW will also be asking for volunteers to be on a board and representative review panel over the summer months to review the overall report.
This workshop will be held via Microsoft Teams, which will be available as a weblink and does not require the participant to download the application.
NRW will use outputs from the workshop in the final SoNaRR2020 report where they can be supported by evidence, meet the requirements in the Environment Act and follow the agreed method.
